Heng Vuong

Heng Vuong is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tacora Resources Inc., where he leads the company’s finance, strategic planning, transformation initiatives, and investor relations functions. He has played a key leadership role in advancing Tacora’s strategy to expand high-grade iron ore production while strengthening the company’s long-term sustainability and competitiveness.

Prior to joining Tacora, Heng worked in investment banking, primarily with Goldman Sachs in Toronto, New York, and Beijing, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and corporate strategy across the mining, industrial, and natural resources sectors.

Heng is recognized for combining strong financial discipline with operational and strategic leadership, with experience spanning corporate finance, restructuring, business transformation, and large-scale operational growth initiatives. A bilingual finance executive fluent in English and French, Heng brings a global perspective shaped by both international capital markets experience and hands-on operational leadership in the mining industry.
